Maverick's question was "which makes more financial sense?" From that perspective, it doesn't seem like SactoTodd's response is unreasonable. Fixing up cars is a VERY POOR INVESTMENT. Ask Wesman and any of the other people with similarly modded cars. BTW, who the heck said I had a stock Z? Don't feel sorry for me. I was just speaking for the MANY MANY people on the board with stock or near stock Zs. Fuck "riding" in a modded Z. I GAVE rides to many other people in MY highly modded Z! In fact, I dare say I was one of the first few people around on this message board with upgraded turbos, intercoolers, injectors, rims, suspension, etc. etc. etc. etc. I have enjoyed the pleasures of driving a way too fast for the street car. After about 4 years of 450 rwhp fun, I sold my Z and not only did I save money, I was thankfully able to parlay the money I got for my car into a large downpayment for a house. Now, without the Z, I have a nice house and am able to enjoy MANY other hobbies besides just having a fast car.
